The bronze sculpture "Mouflon woman" from the cycle of female half-figures adorned with authentic horns is a work by academic sculptor Paulina Skavová. The artist has been exploring this theme since 2013, when this sculpture, executed in laminate, was presented at several prestigious exhibitions. In 2024, the first bronze example was created — collector-attractive cast number 1.
Mouflon woman belongs among the artist's visually striking, emotionally rich, sensually composed and subtly ironic figurative works, engaging with the themes of feminine beauty and trophy symbolism. Through a provocative emphasis on feminine allure combined with strength and energy, Paulina Skavová creates an unusual tension in which beauty, wit and symbolic multilayered meaning merge. The result is a work that fascinates through both its intensity and charm.
A stainless steel pedestal, see photograph, or a black wooden pedestal suitable for interior use can also be purchased for the sculpture.
