A custom-enlarged sculpture, polished to a high gloss, "Torso on a Stool II" by academic sculptor Jakub Bachorík represents a development of the original concept into an even purer and more expressive form, naturally advancing the work beyond its original version.
The stylized female torso in mirror-polished bronze contrasts with a robust base evoking wood. However, this is not a separate element – it is an integral part of the bronze casting, emphasizing the unity of the work as well as its refined material illusion.
The sculpture is intended for contemporary, architecturally clean interiors, where its interplay of light and the tension between smooth and textured surfaces can fully emerge.
