The unique polished bronze fish "The Fourth Wish" by Petr Kuba (2025) is his first sculpture to feature a glass eye. It is, once again, a one-of-a-kind original marked 1/1. The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the author.
The artist created a little fish that, according to his family legend, is supposed to grant even a fourth wish. But the question remains: will it do so, when it looks so visibly annoyed?
The models for his bronze and tin sculptures are prepared directly in wax by the academic sculptor Petr Kuba. During the mould-making process for metal casting, these wax models are irreversibly lost. This results in truly unique originals, which we warmly recommend seeing in person, as the complexity of the forms and the finest details—often achievable only thanks to this modelling technique—can be conveyed in photographs only to a limited extent.
