The painting "Danae" was created within the last ten years, a period during which the artist occasionally does not date his works.
A favourite theme of the artist, in which the grace and sensuality of the female body are complemented only by a small, elegant piece of jewellery. It is precisely in this restraint that a perfect balance emerges.
The work is signed and, on the reverse, bears its title. The overall dimensions including the frame are 52 × 63 cm. The painting is framed in an older moulding, which the artist selected as most suitable for the subject. The frame is provided as a bonus. The buyer may choose to reframe the artwork according to their own preferences, so that it best fits their interior.
