The painting „Contemplative" was created within the last decade, a period during which the artist occasionally leaves his works undated.
The painting captures a moment of quiet immersion in one's own thoughts, when the inner world becomes stronger than the outer one. The gently stylized female figure appears both fragile and self-assured at once, her expression remaining hidden, yet intensely present.
The work is signed and titled on the reverse. The overall dimensions including the frame are 83 × 63 cm. The painting is set in an older gilt frame, selected by the artist as the most suitable for this subject. The frame is provided as a bonus, and the buyer may choose to reframe the work according to their own preferences to best suit their interior.
