The painting "Sisters" from 2008 belongs to the artist's golden reserve, a private collection in which he has, over decades, gathered selected works kept off the market. This intimate body of work has remained inaccessible until now and was created without the intention of being sold, offering a more authentic insight into the artist's creative world.
The painting is now offered for acquisition for the first time, as the artist has exceptionally opened and released part of his golden reserve for the exhibition ELEGANCE.
Two figures stand facing each other like mirrors, similar and yet different. "Sisters" is not only about a blood bond, but also about a silent dialogue, rivalry, and tenderness.
The work is signed and titled and dated on the reverse. Its dimensions, including the frame, are 67 × 87 cm. The painting is set in its original gilded frame, chosen by the artist as the most suitable for this subject. The frame is an integral part of the work, though it may be adjusted or replaced if needed to best suit the character of the interior.
You can reserve the artwork immediately; however, it can only be collected after the end of the exhibition ELEGANCE at the Novoměstská radnice.
