A woman and a lute naturally belong together. The instrument becomes part of the woman, in whom beauty and elegance intertwine seamlessly with music.
The work is signed, and on the reverse bears its title and date. Its dimensions, including the frame, are 67 × 87 cm. The painting is framed in an ornate moulding selected by the artist as the most suitable for this subject. The frame is provided with the artwork as a bonus. The buyer may choose to reframe the piece according to their own preferences to best suit their interior.
Presented at the jubilee exhibition ELEGANCE at the New Town Hall in Prague (2026), organized on the occasion of Jan Rapin's 70th birthday.
