Description
The painting "Maria Anna" was created within the last ten years, during a period when the artist occasionally did not date his works.
The painting presents a female figure in a delicately stylized and sensual composition. The artist works with the contrast between cool blue tones and the warm coloration of the body, creating tension between fragility and strength.
The artwork is signed and titled on the reverse. It is framed in a modern gold frame, with overall dimensions including the frame of 57 × 47 cm.
Presented at the jubilee exhibition ELEGANCE at the New Town Hall in Prague (2026), organized on the occasion of Jan Rapin's 70th birthday.
