The painting "Still Life with Fruit" was created within the last ten years, during a period when the artist occasionally did not date his works.
The painting depicts a still life in which cherries play the leading role, complemented by an apple as a symbol of sweetness and temptation. The artist sets them against a dark background and the fragility of glass.
The artwork is signed and titled on the reverse. The dimensions including the frame are 80 × 59 cm. The painting is set in an older, luxurious frame chosen by the artist as the most suitable for this subject. The frame is provided as a bonus; the buyer may reframe the artwork according to their own preferences to best suit their interior.
Presented at the jubilee exhibition ELEGANCE at the New Town Hall in Prague (2026), organized on the occasion of Jan Rapin's 70th birthday.
