The painting "Old Town Houses" from 1974 belongs to the artist's golden repository, in which the painter has for decades gathered a selection of works kept off the market. This private part of his oeuvre has until now remained inaccessible and was created without the intention of being sold, thus offering an even more authentic insight into the artist's creative world.
The painting is now being offered for acquisition for the first time, as the artist has exceptionally opened and released part of his golden repository for the exhibition ELEGANCE.
The artwork is signed on the reverse and bears the title and date. The dimensions including the gold frame are 58 × 58 cm. The canvas carries a natural patina of time and minor signs of age, which enhance the authenticity of the work and the period of its creation. The frame is an integral part of the artwork, although it can be adjusted or replaced if needed to best suit the character of the interior.
