The painting conceals genuine emotions behind a mask, while the motif of playing cards further reinforces this symbolism: life as a game in which luck, roles, and illusion intertwine.
The artwork is signed and titled on the reverse. The dimensions including the frame are 89 × 69 cm. The painting is set in an older frame chosen by the artist as the most suitable for this subject. The frame is provided as a bonus; the buyer may reframe the artwork according to their own preferences to best suit their interior.
Presented at the jubilee exhibition ELEGANCE at the New Town Hall in Prague (2026), organized on the occasion of Jan Rapin's 70th birthday.
