Description
Painting Ludwig Van Beethoven – "Sad", 2005, with the subtitle "Reflections on the Ninth Symphony", presents a suggestive portrait of a genius captured in a moment of deep inner concentration.
The work is signed, and on the reverse bears the title and date. Dimensions including the frame: 83 × 68 cm. The painting is framed in a moulding selected by the artist as the most suitable for the subject. The frame is provided with the work as a bonus. The buyer may choose to reframe the piece according to their own preferences to best suit their interior.
Presented at the jubilee exhibition ELEGANCE at the New Town Hall in Prague (2026), organized on the occasion of Jan Rapin's 70th birthday.
