he bronze sculpture Archeress from 2023 is the artist's first work in bronze and at the same time an exceptional personal entry into the world of this noble material. Currently available is cast no. 2 from a future edition of 6.
Technically, the work represents a remarkable fusion of classical craftsmanship and artistic authorship. The figure itself, measuring 150 cm in height, is cast using the lost-wax method, while the bow is hand-forged by the artist, giving the work a unique character. The total height of the sculpture, including the bow, reaches 215 cm. An exceptional detail is the hair made of fused glass, bringing light, fragility and a subtle contrast to the mass of metal into the composition.
Archeress is a sculpture about aiming — not merely toward a target, but toward an ideal. It speaks of the courage to hold one's direction, and of balance between strength and lightness. It is precisely within this tension that its expressive power resides.
As the artist's first bronze sculpture, it also holds extraordinary collector significance. It represents the beginning of the artist's journey in a material associated for centuries with permanence and value.
