Description
Prometheus is a symbol of courage, knowledge, and creative power. Dalibor Šebesta does not portray this timeless theme literally, but through dynamic lines that allow the stone to seem as if it is growing upward.
Organic forms flow seamlessly into one another, creating an impression of constant movement, as though the stone were transforming before the viewer's eyes. The sculpture appears light and natural despite being carved from Božanov sandstone.
