Aurea Angel, 2026
The slender and tall ceramic sculpture Aurea Angel was created in 2026 in the studio of sculptor David Horálek. The 160 cm high sculpture has its body, including the head, fired as a single piece of ceramic. Modelling and then safely firing a ceramic body of this size as one piece is an exceptionally demanding technological and craftsmanship challenge. David Horálek, however, is not afraid of great challenges, and Aurea Angel is a striking testament to this.
A distinctive feature of the sculpture is its large, sculpturally modelled wings in blue-green tones, which contrast with the natural brownish shades of the body and long hair. The elongated figure, prominent wings and serene expression with closed eyes give Aurea Andělská a gentle and mysterious atmosphere.
Aurea Angel is a guardian of the home, garden and their inhabitants. In a garden, she serves as a striking solitary piece and at the same time as a symbol of protection, happiness and positive energy.
The sculpture is intended for year-round outdoor placement. The artist has equipped it with a metal base cross that allows it to be securely anchored directly into the ground.
Personal collection of this ceramic sculpture is required directly from our gallery in Šestajovice near Prague. Safe transport by an external carrier would require extensive individual packaging and a special protective casing, the costs of which would be disproportionately high in relation to the value of the artwork. For this reason, shipping via an external carrier is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.
If you are interested, however, we can deliver the sculpture using our own gallery transport service.
