Magnus Small Brick, 2026 – Atelier Flaume
The modern figurative ceramic sculpture Magnus Small Brick, created in 2026, is distinguished by its striking stylized interpretation of the human head and an original surface treatment with an effect glaze. The robust, geometricized forms give the work a distinctive contemporary character. The sculpture is 105 cm high.
The sculpture is suitable for year-round outdoor placement and can become a striking solitary feature in a garden, on a terrace or at an entrance. It is equally impressive indoors, where it functions as a distinctive designer and sculptural object.
The effect glazes, whose unique colour variations arise from reactions between pigments and metal oxides at high firing temperatures, give each ceramic work its own distinctive character. The colour, pattern and intensity of the surface are unique to each piece and may naturally change over time depending on light and environmental conditions, for example through gradual lightening or mattifying of the surface; such changes are an inherent characteristic of high-fired effect glazes and do not constitute a defect in the work.
For ceramic sculptures, works and other larger ceramic pieces, we recommend personal collection directly from our gallery in Šestajovice near Prague. Due to the dimensions and specific nature of these works, transportation via a standard external delivery service is not possible. Alternatively, we can arrange express individual delivery by car, using a returnable protective crate only; the price depends on the distance from Prague, and we will be happy to provide an individual quotation upon request.
