The granite sculpture Sharp II by Peter Minář resembles a vertically stacked column of book spines and edges from an antique bookshop. The individual layers project in different directions, as if the books had been casually piled one on top of another. The natural texture of the granite, combined with the irregular, sharp edges, creates an intriguing interplay of light and shadow and gives the work a distinctive, almost literary character.
